Georgina Abreu is a Portuguese visual artist, photographer and filmmaker based between Amsterdam and Portugal. Her practice explores the relationship between the body, movement, memory and place. Working across photography and moving image, she is interested in human connection, cultural memory and the poetic details of everyday life. Her work often develops through collaboration and encounters with people, landscapes and communities.
Some of her commercial clients include Iris van Herpen, WWD, Arma, AAIKO, Bibi Van der Velden, Squarespace, Béhen, Sous, Ergovisão, Portuguese Shoes. She has also photographed several Portuguese musicians - Napa, Kady, João Borsch, Elisa.
In 2025, she created her Creative Agency — AOUA Studio, alongside her childhood friend, Eva Freitas. Through the agency, they work on multiple projects across branding, content creation and design.
Currently working as a freelancer, based between Amsterdam and Portugal (Madeira Island).
